Often referred to as " Ms. Las Vegas " ! Proud Dawson Georgia born ( and as you can feel from the essence of her music, she's a ) Cherokee / African native.
Koko Conley,...considered, " The Entertainers, Entertainer " She's a Pro out fronter !. She's a song writer, as well as a singer, and sings covers of all genres. With over 20 years of experience, Koko Conley sings everything from Tina Turner to KT Oslin. Koko's genres includes those of R&B, Pop, Soul, Blues, Smooth Jazz, Country and others ! KCLSProductions Inc. are very proud of Koko's determination, and we are very proud to announce that, we are produceing Ms. Conley's solo album, titled " At Last- Koko Conley " , due to be completed by this summer, postings of her released party shall be announced ! Koko Conley has performed at some of the finest Casinos in Las Vegas ( to name a few, she's performed at the Boulder Station, the Golden Nugget, and Fitzgerald's Casinos in Las Vegas,) she has performed also in California ( at the Harrah's Casino in Lake Tahoe ), in SaintPetersburg Florida ( at the 10 Beach Drive Piano Lounge, performed at The 10 Million Dollar Pier, and at some of the most popular clubs and lounges along the sandy beaches of Florida ). In New York, Koko performed clubs in the East Hamptons, and have performed shows all over the Kansas City area, including places like the downtown 12th Street Lounge inside the Marriot Hotel, the Marriot on The Plaza, the River City Market and making an appearance on the Fox 4 Morning Show in Kansas City Mo. When Koko Conley performs ( well known for performing 2 hours straight, without a break,...but quite accustomed to doing 4 hour shows ), it is always with great energy ! and she knows how to take charge on stage as an out front person ! She's been likened to the presentations of " Tina Turner " " Eartha Kitt " and " Bobby Womack " all rolled up into one, and more ! When Koko Conley sings, it is always straight from her heart, and she has maintained for years, the charisma to enable her audiences to feel comfortable with her, while enjoying what she does as a professional entertainer. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JUST BEING A SINGER COMPARED TO AN ENTERTAINER...... " KOKO CONLEY " ! SHE'S CONSIDERED ONE OF THE HARDEST WORKING WOMEN IN SHOW BUSINESS !..there's no wonder why this lady's referred to as " Ms. Las Vegas " !
In the mid- 70's , Ms. Conley worked as a backup vocalist,...sometime later, she became the lead vocalist for the group " The Ronnie Harris Trio ", a Gospel singing act, out of Hartford Conn. from 1976-1978. Koko perfomed with Ronnie Harris in Hartford Ct., Rhode Island and New York. Koko recorded a song with Ronnie titled " Syncopated Love", then soon afterward, recorded a contemporary Christain song, co-written by herself and Mr. Harris, titled " I've Got A Fantastic High ", their works received great applause and got extended plays on Hartford's radio station W K N D FM. In 1978 the group soon parted ways and Koko moved on. Koko Conley's career did not take shape again, til Dec. of 1987, in SaintPetersburg Fl. Koko became the lead singer for the R&B group out of Tampa bay Fl. " A Piece Of The Action ". The group performed regularly at the " St. Petersburg Pier " The group also made music videos of their own original songs and were quite popular through out Florida.They released their first album in 1988 titled " A Piece Of The Action ""Unlimited Edition ".They also had a weekly music video show tilted " A Piece Of The Action Show " which aired on channel 9 every Saturday night , right after the Midnght At The Apollo Show " that was prior to " The Arsenio Hall Show " . Koko Conley and " A Piece Of The Action " parted ways in 1989. In 1990 Ms. Conleys career turned to television (and music ), she starred in her own television shows " Koko's Korner " filmed and unscrifted, with a live audience. With a packed house. Koko performed with such charisma and energy that her audience would sit to watch her perform rather than hit the dance floor while she sanged, and still today the same ingredients, are what drives and inspires this great artist ! Koko's music is being played ( in english ) in Milano Italy, on radio SNJ, http://www.radiosnj.com, The station airs M-F 12:00am to 7:00am U S time, to hear Koko's music , the best hours are between 4:00am--7:00am M-F US time, Ms. Conley's music is played on the " Black Music " show, beautifully hosted by the incomparable dj, Mr. Ronnie Jones.
