Biography
The Royal Gents are a Los Angeles, CA based band formed in July, 2006. "Best Rock Artist" winners at the 17th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards the Gents are comprised of Chezzare (Chezz) Monroe Lead Vocals/Guitar, Chris Bostwick Drums, Michael Nightingale Bass, and Chris Vasquez Lead Guitar. The Gents are four stylish guys who are all blessed with musical talent and skills.
Influenced by T-Rex, Cheap Trick, The Raspberries, Grass Roots, Blondie, Duran Duran, and David Bowie. The Royal Gents sound is a combination of Power Pop, Glam, Punk, Metal and Disco. Their songs are catchy, melodic, and danceable with big drums and loud guitars done with attitude and pinache. Music Connection says, “The Royal Gents songs are delivered with an infectious energy that makes them consistently fun. Solid performances and the obvious love for the music oozes from the speakers.”.
The Royal Gents have been playing shows all over Los Angeles to wild crowds; great reviews; and receiving awards. They are getting ready to start playing shows accross the southwest.
