Bio

Khao, Born and Raised in Compton, California brings a new flavor to West Coast rap. Influenced by many West Coast legends such as Dj Quik, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mac-10, WC, Game, NWA, and many others he took his style to the South to nurture it and add another element to his music. Now back in Los Angeles he has a style that is unheard of in the West a mix of the down South bounce and West Coast gangsterism. He prides himself on being versatile, he says, Without being versatile you are nothing as an artist I want to reach different audiences not everybody likes the West Coast style, or the East Coast Style, or the Southern style, so I mixed all of them. My music is gangsta, it’s Southern, and its punch lines like the East I feel mixing them gives me an advantage over other up and coming artist because I will reach more than just Cali, I will reach all avenues of Hip-Hop and not many artists are doing that." To add Khao is one of the most hard working artist continuously perfecting his flow getting all the little kinks out of his everlasting chain, he writes everyday and has held true to that, "I gotta stay on top of my game, if not ill fall off or slack and I don’t want to do that when I get in the game I want my fans to be pleased I don’t want to plateau, I look at the industry as Mt. Everest its and up hill climb and if you slip up then you’re dead simple as that. I’m not a one hit wonder and I strive to not be that, that’s why I stay on the grind like I do." Look for Khao coming to a venue near you, or dropping a mix tape on a block near you.
